Real-time Personalization of QuickBooks using Clickstream Data

Ian is a product manager on the Intuit Machine Learning Platform. Prior to Intuit, Ian worked as a software engineer both in the enterprise security space and consumer mobile app space. It was in building products in the consumer space that Ian turned to product management in order to drive vision and execution to drive product value. Ian has always been interested in the machine learning space since graduate school where his research focused on computer vision and self-driving cars. Ian holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.

Simarpal is the product manager driving product strategy for Feature Engineering and Storage at Intuit. Prior to Intuit, he was at Ayasdi, a machine learning startup, leading product efforts for machine learning solutions in the financial services space. Before that he worked at Adobe as a product manager for Audience Manager, a data management platform for digital marketing.
